Managing Contacts from within the Customer Control Panel

The Contact details of a domain name can be modified from the domain management interface. Click here to read how>>

Apart from this, Contacts can be created and managed independent of the domain name(s), directly from within the Customer Control Panel as mentioned below:

 

Adding a Contact

  1. Login to the Customer Control Panel from http://samyakonline.myorderbox.com/customer.
     
  2. Go to Domains -> Domain Registration -> Contact Management -> Add.
     
  3. Select the type of Contact you wish to add and provide the details for this Contact.
     
    IMPORTANT

    The Add Contact form supports the following, except for the Phone Number, Fax Number and Email Address fields:

    • accented characters in case of .EU Contact and .COOP Contact Contact Types, and
       
    • Chinese characters in case of .CN Contact Contact Type.
       
     
  4. Click on Add to complete the process.

Contact thus added can be viewed from the Contact List page which can be accessed through Domains -> Domain Registration -> Contact Management -> List menu. This Contact can be chosen to represent one or more Contacts for a domain name during the Registration process.

 

Modifying a Contact

  1. Login to the Customer Control Panel from http://samyakonline.myorderbox.com/customer.
     
  2. Go to Domains -> Domain Registration -> Contact Management -> List.
     
  3. Click on the Contact Id link of the Contact you wish to modify.
     
  4. Click on the Modify button.
     
  5. Modify the details as required and click on Submit to save the changes.
IMPORTANT
  • Modifying the details of a particular Contact in this way will result in change of Contact details for all domain names using this Contact.
     
  • The Modify Contact form supports the following, except for the Phone Number, Fax Number and Email Address fields:
     
    • accented characters in case of .EU Contact and .COOP Contact Contact Types, and
       
    • Chinese characters in case of .CN Contact Contact Type.

 

Modifying .US Nexus information associated with a Contact

If you associate a Contact with a .US domain name, you must specify the necessary Nexus information for it. You can modify this information at any time, from the Customer Control Panel. To do this,

  1. Login to the Customer Control Panel, from http://samyakonline.myorderbox.com/customer.
     
  2. Go to Domains -> Domain Registration -> Contact Management -> List.
     
  3. Click on the Contact Id link of the Contact you wish to modify. Then, click on the Modify Nexus Information button.
     
  4. Specify the new Application Purpose and Nexus Category for the Contact, as appropriate and click on Continue to save the changes.

 

Modifying .COOP Sponsor details associated with a Contact

If you associate a Contact with a .COOP domain name, you must specify the necessary Sponsor details for it. You can modify this information at any time, from the Customer Control Panel. To do this,

  1. Login to the Customer Control Panel, from http://samyakonline.myorderbox.com/customer.
     
  2. Go to Domains -> Domain Registration -> Contact Management -> List.
     
  3. Click on the Contact Id link of the Contact you wish to modify. Then, click on the Modify Sponsor Details button in the .COOP Contact Details page.
     
  4. Details of the existing Sponsors will be listed. You can Modify the Sponsor Information here.
     
  5. Click on Change Sponsor Information button to save the changes.

 

Modifying the CED details associated with a Contact

If you associate a Contact with a .ASIA domain name as its CED Contact, you must specify the necessary CED details for it. You can modify this information at any time, from the Customer Control Panel. To do this,

  1. Login to the Customer Control Panel, from http://samyakonline.myorderbox.com/customer.
     
  2. Go to Domains -> Domain Registration -> Contact Management -> List.
     
  3. Click on the Contact Id link of the Contact you wish to modify. Then, click on the Modify CED Details button.
     
  4. The existing CED details are displayed. You can modify them, as required.
     
  5. Click on Continue to save the changes.

 

Deleting a Contact

If a specific Contact is no longer required, you may delete the same by following the steps listed below:

  1. Login to the Customer Control Panel from http://samyakonline.myorderbox.com/customer.
     
  2. Go to Domains -> Domain Registration -> Contact Management -> List.
     
  3. Click on the Contact Id link of the Contact you wish to delete.
     
  4. Click on the Delete button and confirm the deletion.
IMPORTANT

A Contact can be deleted only if it is -
